PM Shehbaz Sharif Performs Umrah in Makkah

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah during his four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia, accompanied by a high-level delegation.

During his time at the Holy Ka’aba, he offered Nawafil (special prayers), seeking prosperity for Pakistan and unity among Muslims. He then visited Madina, where he paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) and prayed at Masjid-e-Nabawi. As a special honor, the doors of Riaz-ul-Jannah, a revered area within the mosque, were opened for him.

In addition to the religious aspect of his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a significant meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The two leaders reaffirmed the strong ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and explored ways to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including defense, trade, and investment.

The Crown Prince assured Pakistan of increased Saudi investments, further strengthening economic collaboration. Both leaders expressed their commitment to fostering mutual growth and addressing regional challenges through joint efforts.

This visit not only underscored the spiritual connection between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia but also highlighted the importance of their bilateral relationship. With promises of greater economic support and collaboration, the trip is seen as a positive step toward Pakistan’s economic development and regional stability.
