‘Poet of the East’ Nation Observes Birth Anniversary of Allama Iqbal Today

Thursday morning witnessed a significant ceremony at the mausoleum of the eminent philosopher and poet, Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, marking the 146th anniversary of his birth. The event was graced by Commodore Sajid Hussain, Lahore station commander of the Pakistan Navy, who participated as the chief guest. His presence added solemnity to the occasion.

Commodore Sajid Hussain paid his respects to the revered philosopher by visiting his grave and took a moment to share his thoughts in the guest book.

Additionally, a contingent of the Pakistan Navy assumed the responsibility of guarding the mausoleum, underlining the significance of this commemoration.

Simultaneously, across the nation, there was a collective celebration of Iqbal’s birth anniversary on Thursday, marked by traditional fervor and enthusiasm.

Recognizing the importance of this occasion, the federal government declared it a public holiday, allowing people throughout the country to observe and honor the legacy of Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal in their own ways.
