Imran Khan, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman, and former Prime Minister has just tweeted that Police has surrounded his residence in Zaman Park, Lahore, stating “Probably my last tweet” before his second arrest.
Traffic has been blocked from Mall Road, Lahore and a heavy police force is positioned outside his house, Allama Iqbal Road, Garhi Shahu Canal, Dharmpura Bridge, and surrounding areas of the city. Armed police officers wearing bullet proof jackets are deployed in mobile vans, seeming to be prepared for any kind of situation. As per the sources, cars putting PTI flags on view are stopped and detained.
In the previous week, Imran Khan’s arrest resulted in violent protests from fans to show support for their party leader. The protests, however, caused huge destruction to the public property in the country. If Imran khan gets arrest again, what would be the outcome from PTI supporters is yet to be seen.
