President Asif Ali Zardari will be the chief guest at the opening match of the Champions Trophy 2025. The event will feature an exciting aerial display by the Pakistan Air Force’s Sherdils team to mark the occasion.
The tournament will begin with a thrilling match between Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Bank Cricket Stadium in Karachi. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed his pride in hosting the tournament, while fast bowler Mohammad Amir shared his excitement about the competition.
To ensure security, a large deployment of 6,700 personnel will be on duty throughout the event. Due to political tensions, India’s matches will be played in Dubai instead of Pakistan.
The tournament will take place in multiple cities, including Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai, allowing cricket fans from different regions to witness the action live.
