President Asif Ali Zardari has set a new milestone by becoming the first foreign head of state to visit China’s AVIC fighter jet facility.
During his visit, the president was given a detailed tour of the J-10C fighter jet production complex. He met with Chinese engineers and scientists who are working on some of the world’s most advanced aviation technologies. The briefing also covered the latest developments in defense, including the J-20 stealth aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and modern automated defense systems.
President Zardari praised China’s remarkable progress in the field of aviation and defense manufacturing. He emphasized that aircraft such as the J-10 and the JF-17 have played an important role in strengthening the capabilities of Pakistan’s Air Force. His visit also highlighted the strong defense cooperation and partnership between Pakistan and China, built on decades of trust and collaboration.
