President Asif Ali Zardari awarded the Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) to Major General Humaid Abdulla Alremeithi, Commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Naval Forces, during a special ceremony held in Islamabad on Monday.
The Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military) is one of Pakistan’s highest military honors, given to individuals who show exceptional service and dedication.
Major General Alremeithi received the award in recognition of his important role in strengthening defense ties between Pakistan and the UAE. His efforts have helped build closer cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, especially in the naval sector.
At the ceremony, President Zardari praised Major General Alremeithi for his leadership and for promoting mutual trust between Pakistan and the UAE.
