Private schools have increased fees by 30 to 40 percent, while schools are allowed to increase fees by only 10 percent annually.
According to details, private schools in Karachi have illegally increased the fees by 30 to 40 percent, sources have said that private schools have taken approval from the Education Department for the illegal increase in fees.
Sources said that the grade 16 officer of the Directorate of Private Schools gave permission to the private schools, the grade 16 officer also illegally received vehicle and fuel benefits from the education department.
In this regard, the Sindh Education Department has said that the education minister has been kept unaware of the illegal increase in fees of private schools, schools are allowed to increase the fees by only 10 percent annually.
