Field Marshal General Asim Munir visited the flood-affected areas of Buner together with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where he praised the Pakistan Army for its tireless efforts in helping people suffering from floods and heavy rains.
While speaking to the families who have lost their homes and belongings, the Army Chief directed his teams to carry out their duties with complete dedication. He stressed that every possible step must be taken to reduce the difficulties of the affected communities and to make sure relief reaches them on time.
General Munir highlighted that the safety of citizens and the quick delivery of aid are the Army’s highest priorities during this emergency.
At the same time, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has also announced an additional 2 billion rupees to strengthen ongoing flood relief operations. This joint effort between the civil government and the armed forces shows the nation’s strong commitment to standing together and supporting people in times of crisis.
