Proud of Pakistan! Hassan Ali Bhola Wins Bronze in 70Kg Beach Wrestling at Asian Youth Games

Pakistan’s young wrestling talent, Hassan Ali Bhola, made the nation proud by winning a bronze medal in the 70kg beach wrestling event at the Asian Youth Games. Hassan delivered a remarkable performance, defeating Tajikistan’s Idris Bakhromov with a dominant 2-0 victory, securing Pakistan’s only wrestling medal in the competition.

In the 80kg category, Abdul Rahman also impressed with his skill and determination. He achieved strong wins against opponents from Saudi Arabia and South Korea, showcasing his technical ability and fighting spirit. However, he narrowly missed out on a podium finish after a close contest against Iran’s Toraj Khodai in the semi-finals.

Both wrestlers advanced to the semi-final stage, signaling a promising future for Pakistan’s participation in beach wrestling, a sport steadily gaining recognition across Asia. Their performances reflect the growing potential of Pakistani youth athletes who continue to excel despite limited resources and international exposure.

Hassan Ali Bhola’s consistency and Abdul Rahman’s resilience demonstrate the country’s emerging talent in combat sports. Their success not only adds to Pakistan’s medal tally but also serves as an inspiration for young athletes aiming to represent the nation on global platforms.

With continued training and support from national sports authorities, Pakistan’s next generation of wrestlers has the potential to reach even greater heights in upcoming Asian and international competitions.
