The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 will be held without spectators this year as part of government-led austerity measures amid the ongoing Middle East crisis.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that all matches will be confined to the cities of Karachi and Lahore. Additionally, the highly anticipated grand opening ceremony has been cancelled to reduce operational costs and limit public gatherings.
The tournament is set to run from March 26 to May 3, with the opening match featuring Lahore Qalandars taking on Hyderabad Kingsmen. While all relevant institutions remain on heightened alert to ensure smooth operations, authorities have clarified that there is no immediate security threat.
Matches will continue behind closed doors until regional tensions ease, prioritizing the safety of players, staff, and the general public while still delivering the excitement of the PSL.
