PTCL Group, the largest telecommunication and ICT services provider in Pakistan, has taken a significant step in its organizational culture by implementing employee-friendly policies. The company now offers 6 months of fully paid maternity leave and 30 days of fully paid paternity leave.
These new policies aim to support new mothers and fathers in bonding with and caring for their newborns. Fathers can avail the paternity leave on a staggered basis during the first year of childbirth, providing flexibility and convenience for employees.
Shoaib Baig, the Group Chief People Officer, expressed excitement about these changes, bringing PTCL in line with leading employers in Pakistan. These policies are part of the company’s commitment to an inclusive culture and its cultural transformation journey called ‘#TayyarHo,’ which extends beyond the workplace to embrace all aspects of employees’ lives.
PTCL Group has introduced a range of ‘Family Friendly’ policies, guidelines, and benefits, showing its dedication to becoming an employer of choice and supporting employees’ well-being and work-life balance. These progressive steps reflect PTCL’s focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for its workforce.
