The individual who founded the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) party has officially thrown their support behind Mian Aslam Iqbal and Salar Khan, endorsing them as the party’s choices for the roles of Chief Minister in Punjab and Balochistan respectively. Additionally, Aqibullah Khan has been put forward as the PTI’s nominee for the Speaker position in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly.
Claiming to have secured a significant number of seats, totaling 180, in the elections held on February 8, the PTI has accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of engaging in electoral malpractice.
They emphasize their unwavering commitment to challenging what they perceive as a stolen mandate, vowing to serve as a robust opposition until justice is served and their purportedly rightful seats are reclaimed.
In a bid to voice their discontent and rally support, the PTI has outlined plans to organize a peaceful protest that will span across Pakistan on the upcoming Saturday.
They anticipate that other dissatisfied political factions will join them in solidarity, amplifying their collective call for fairness and electoral transparency.
