The Punjab Sports Board has revealed the prize money for Haider Ali, who clinched a gold medal at the Paralympics. Punjab Sports has announced an award of Rs 20 lakh for Haider Ali.
Caretaker Sports Minister Punjab Wahab Riaz expressed his pride on social media, saying, “Haider, we are proud of you.”
The sports minister also highlighted that Haider Ali’s victory serves as an inspiration for athletes throughout Pakistan.
It’s important to note that Haider Ali achieved the gold medal in the Paralympics discus throw events.
