PWDP Approves Peshawar-DI Khan Motorway for Rs. 276 Million

The Provincial Working Development Party (PWDP) greenlit the dismiss of Peshawar-DI Khan Motorway project, on Monday. This project would be three hundred and sixty kilometers in length. Also, it is anticipated to finish within Rs. 276 million.

This operation would connect southern and combine locale with the provincial capital, considering for a smooth traffic flow on the Indus expressway.

The exchange would permit easy entrance to Peshawar, Kohat, Hangu, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan Areas. Also involved in the project is the building of two tunnels that includes Dara Adamkhel of 5.6 kilometer long and Banda Daud Shah of 1.6 kilometer long.

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan approved the project few days ago, following his gathering with the elected representatives from the southern locale.

In a significiant improvement that took place on December 16, 2020, the Sukkur to Multan phase of the Peshawar-Karachi Highway offered over to Pakistan and unfolded for public use.

The Multan-Sukkur section of the motorway is three hundred and ninety two kilometers and has a speed limit of one hundred and twenty kilometers for each hour for light traffic vehicles. The full length of the Peshawar-Karachi roadway will be eleven hundred kilometers.
