Federal Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique chaired a meeting Tuesday to review the facilities and services on the newly upgraded Green Line train. The meeting decided to impose a fine on those who were found spitting and causing damage to the Green Line train.
Additionally, the authorities decided to modify Karakoram Express’ design to a Green Line Express design. A briefing on the auction of stores operating on railroad property was provided, and it was instructed to reassess the policy.
The meeting was also briefed on salaries and the payment of pensions. Moreover, the meeting discussed in detail the impact of increased fuel prices on railroad operations.
