KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain and thundershowers in Karachi on March 22.
Westerly winds continue to prevail in the region, causing dust storm in Jamshoro, Thatta, Sajawal, Badin, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Umerkot, Mirpur Khas, Hyderabad, Matiari and other districts in Sindh. There is also a possibility of heavy rain and hailstorm in some places with thunderstorms.
According to the Meteorological Department, the new system of rain will enter southern Baluchistan on March 22, as a result of which there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at various places of Sindh and Baluchistan including Karachi on the evening of March 22.
According to the Meteorological Department, rain and thundershowers may occur at some places in the suburbs of Karachi.
Under the influence of the system, dust storm is expected at most places in most districts of Balochistan from March 22 to 23, while moderate and heavy rain is expected at some places.
