Ramiz Raja stated in his message to club presidents that he does not require the pay of a PCB Chairman and that he will serve for the next three years without it. He went on to say that he believes the chairmanship of the PCB is an honourable post that should be given top consideration.
“I came to this cricket board without any remuneration. For the next three years, I will not receive a single dime. I’ve given up my current job to take this position. My current vehicle is a 2008 model. I have no regrets about not having a large house, a fancy automobile, or a lot of money. “You have to play an innings for the honour many times,” he said in his speech.
