Rs. 100,000 Salami for Newly-Wed Couple! CM Punjab Launched ‘Dhee Rani’ Program

The Punjab government, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has introduced the ‘Dhee Rani’ program to help less fortunate couples with their wedding ceremonies. This program is designed to ease the financial stress associated with weddings by providing Rs100,000 through ATM cards. In addition to the cash assistance, couples will receive essential household items, including furniture, crockery, and clothing.

Couples interested in this support can apply online at http://cmp.punjab.gov.pk or by calling the helpline at 1312. Teams will review applications to confirm eligibility, ensuring a fair process. This initiative aims to make weddings more accessible and reduce the financial burden on families who struggle to afford such celebrations.

As part of the program, the government will also arrange meals for the wedding celebrations, making the occasion more special for the couples and their families.

In her announcement, CM Nawaz highlighted the importance of the 26th constitutional amendment, which is aimed at ensuring timely justice and reinforcing the judicial system. This amendment is part of the government’s broader efforts to improve the lives of citizens and strengthen institutions.

The ‘Dhee Rani’ program reflects the government’s commitment to supporting families during important life events like weddings. By providing financial aid and essential items, the initiative aims to bring joy to couples and their families while promoting a sense of community and support in Punjab.
