The Lahore Police have reported that crime in the city has gone down by 52% in the first 11 months of 2025 compared to the same time in 2024. Serious crimes like robberies dropped by almost half, and mugging cases went down by 73%. The number of emergency calls made to Rescue 15 also decreased by 73%, showing that fewer people faced dangerous situations.
DIG Operations Faisal Kamran said this improvement was possible because of strong government support, better use of modern technology, and the hard work of the police force. Theft cases also fell by 30%, which means daily life has become safer for residents.
Overall, the report shows that strategic planning, technological advancements, and active policing are helping create a more secure and peaceful environment for the people of Lahore.
