Sahih al-Bukhari 7563: Narrated Abu Huraira (R.A) Prophet (ﷺ) Said, “(There are) Two Words which are Dear to the Beneficent (Allah) and very Light (Easy) for the Tongue (to say), but very Heavy in Weight in the Balance. They are: ”Subhan Allah wa-bi Hamdihi” and ”Subhan Allah Al-`Azim.”

In Sahih al-Bukhari 7563, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasizes the extraordinary value of two simple yet profoundly significant phrases: “Subhan Allah wa-bi hamdihi” (Glory is to Allah and praise is to Him) and “Subhan Allah Al-`Azim” (Glory is to Allah, the Almighty). Despite their ease of utterance, these words hold immense weight in the divine scale of judgment.

These phrases encapsulate the essence of glorifying and praising Allah, expressing acknowledgment of His perfection, greatness, and sovereignty.

Their simplicity makes them accessible to all believers, yet their impact is profound. Uttering them regularly with sincerity fosters a deep connection with the Divine, instills humility, and cultivates gratitude. Moreover, they serve as constant reminders of Allah’s majesty and inspire righteous conduct.

By highlighting the weightiness of these phrases in the balance of deeds on the Day of Judgment, the hadith underscores their significance in Islam.

They serve as powerful tools for spiritual elevation, guiding believers towards mindfulness, virtuous behavior, and ultimately, divine acceptance and reward.
