Samsung to Unveil Galaxy S24 Series in January 2024

Samsung is planning to release its Galaxy S24 smartphones in January 2024, with a potential unveiling date on January 17 and availability for purchase around February 2. This change is aimed at competing with Apple’s iPhone 15 series and boosting semiconductor sales.

By releasing in January, Samsung avoids overshadowing by CES earlier in the month and avoids competing with other brands during the busy Christmas season.

Notably, Samsung is expected to continue using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in most devices, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

This choice is likely because of the chipset’s AI capabilities, which are crucial for the phone’s advanced camera features, ensuring a consistent user experience across different markets.
