On Pakistan Day, President Asif Ali Zardari honored 69 individuals with civil awards for their outstanding contributions in various fields at a special ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.
Famous fashion designers Sana Hashwani and Safinaz Muneer were awarded the prestigious Sitara-i-Imtiaz in recognition of their remarkable impact on the fashion industry since they launched their brand in 1989.
Among other recipients, Sultan Ali Akbar Allana, who serves as the Chairman of Habib Bank Limited, received the Nishan-i-Khidmat award for his services. Additionally, well-known philanthropist Amin Lakhani was honored with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz award for his contributions to society.
The grand ceremony was attended by ministers, diplomats, and notable members of civil society, making it a significant event celebrating excellence and dedication in Pakistan.
