Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Quetta Gladiators, recently shared his insights on promising cricket talent set to shine in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.
In an interview with Cricket Pakistan, Sarfaraz highlighted four emerging players whom he believes are poised for success on the PSL stage. Among them is Adil Naz, a fast bowler whom Sarfaraz has observed playing for the Abbottabad team and considers highly promising. Additionally, he mentioned Khawaja Nafay, a newcomer who has recently showcased his skills while representing the Sindh team.
Sarfaraz also pointed out Saad Baig, captain of the Pakistan U19 team, as a player to watch. Baig has demonstrated his leadership and talent on the international stage, notably leading the junior national squad in prestigious tournaments like the U19 World Cup 2024 and the U19 Asia Cup 2023. Another talent mentioned by Sarfaraz is Mehran Mumtaz, who, he believes, has the potential to excel when given the opportunity.
