Pakistan has included Saud Shakeel in their Asia Cup 2023 team. He will be a middle-order batter. Also, Tayyab Tahir is now the reserve player for the team.
Saud Shakeel wasn’t in the first group of 17 players selected for the team. He became the 18th player in the One Day International (ODI) team for the matches against Afghanistan.
Tayyab Tahir was part of the original squad but didn’t get a chance to play in the three matches against Afghanistan. He will go with the team to the Asia Cup as a backup player.
