Saudi Arabia Announces $90 Million Support Package for Palestine

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has confirmed the launch of an emergency international coalition aimed at supporting the Palestinian Authority. The initiative will provide direct financial aid, with Saudi Arabia pledging $90 million as part of this effort.

Prince Faisal made the announcement while speaking on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

He emphasized that Saudi Arabia remains committed to standing with the Palestinian people during these difficult times and ensuring that their government has the resources to continue functioning effectively.

The Saudi Foreign Minister also spoke about the broader regional situation, making it clear that normalization of relations with Israel cannot move forward without addressing the core issue of Palestine.

He stressed that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is the foundation of lasting peace in the Middle East. According to him, the two-state solution remains the only realistic and fair path that can guarantee stability for both Palestinians and Israelis.

The decision to form a coalition comes at a time of rising tensions in the region, where the humanitarian and political struggles of Palestinians continue to draw global concern.

By providing immediate financial support and urging international cooperation, Saudi Arabia is aiming to not only ease current challenges but also push forward a political solution based on justice and statehood.

This move highlights Riyadh’s growing role in regional diplomacy and its commitment to ensuring that the Palestinian cause remains at the center of peace efforts.
