Saudi Arabia Launches Digital Guide for Hajj and Umrah Pilgrims

The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched a new digital guide to help people performing Umrah and Hajj. This guide is designed to make the pilgrimage experience easier and more informed for everyone. It is available in 16 different languages, including Urdu, so that people from many countries can understand the information easily.

The digital guide comes in both text and audio formats, allowing users to read or listen based on their preference. It covers many important topics such as cybersecurity, legal and financial guidance, and health tips, helping pilgrims stay safe and well-prepared during their journey.

In addition to practical advice, the guide also provides detailed information about the holy sites in Saudi Arabia and explains the rituals of Hajj and Umrah, so pilgrims can perform each step correctly and with understanding.

Alongside the launch of the guide, the Ministry also announced an important health update: meningitis vaccination is now mandatory for all domestic pilgrims. Without showing proof of this vaccination, pilgrims will not be allowed to buy Hajj packages this year.

This new digital initiative and the health requirement show the Ministry’s efforts to support and protect pilgrims, making their spiritual journey safe, informed, and meaningful.
