In a major step to facilitate Muslims worldwide, Saudi Arabia has introduced the “Nusuk Umrah” online service, making it easier than ever for international pilgrims to obtain Umrah visas.
According to reports from Arab media, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has launched this digital platform to allow pilgrims to apply for visas directly, without the need for agents or intermediaries.
The new system also offers significant convenience for visitors wishing to perform prayers in Riyaz-ul-Jannah at Masjid al-Nabawi, by streamlining the booking process.
Through the Nusuk Umrah platform, available at https://umrah.nusuk.sa/, pilgrims can not only apply for visas but also book essential services such as accommodation, transportation, and guided tours online. The platform provides both bundled and standalone packages, giving users the flexibility to customize their journey according to their preferences.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah emphasized that the aim of the Nusuk Umrah service is to enhance the quality of services and improve the overall experience of pilgrims visiting the Kingdom. In cases where users face difficulties navigating the digital application, the platform also provides details of approved travel agents who can assist with the process.
Officials further highlighted that the launch of this service is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 goals, which focus on welcoming greater numbers of pilgrims and raising the standards of Hajj and Umrah services. By leveraging modern technology, the Kingdom hopes to enrich the spiritual and logistical journey of millions of Muslims who visit each year.
