The Saudi Arabian government has introduced restrictions on multiple entries to Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH), according to an announcement on Saturday. The updated policy now prohibits more than one visit to the sacred site within a year.
To obtain entry permits for Roza-e-Rasool, individuals must now use either the Nusuk or Tawakkalna App. Additionally, visitors are required to declare their COVID-19 status, and entry approval will be determined based on this declaration.
While visits to Masjid e Nabwi remain unrestricted, the decision to limit annual entries to Roza-e-Rasool is aimed at managing congestion. This move comes in response to the increasing number of Muslims expressing the desire to visit the holy site. The government’s decision aligns with its preparations for the upcoming Hajj, where it anticipates hosting over 2 million pilgrims. The measure is part of a broader strategy to ensure the smooth and organized flow of visitors to these significant religious sites.
