Saudi Arabia Limits Multiple-Entry Visas for Pakistanis Ahead of Hajj

Saudi Arabia has changed its visa rules for 14 countries, including Pakistan, just before the Hajj season. Starting from February 1, 2025, visitors from these countries will no longer be able to get multiple-entry visas during this time. Instead, only single-entry visas will be issued, and they will be valid for 30 days. These visas are for people traveling for tourism, business, or to visit family.

The new rule has been introduced to better manage the large number of visitors during Hajj and to make sure everyone stays safe. Saudi authorities also want to prevent people from performing Hajj without permission or using visit visas for illegal work.

This change does not affect those who have official Hajj, Umrah, or government visas. It only applies to general visit visas. The decision is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a plan to improve and organize tourism and visitor services in the country.

Travelers from the affected countries are being advised to plan their trips carefully. They should apply for visas early and follow all the new rules to avoid any problems or fines. Those who plan to visit during the Hajj season should be especially cautious, as the government will be closely monitoring all incoming visitors.

This update is an important part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to offer a better and safer experience for all visitors, while also maintaining order during one of the busiest times of the year. By making visa rules stricter, the country hopes to control crowds and make sure that only those with proper permission take part in Hajj activities.

People are encouraged to check with travel agents or official sources for the latest guidelines before booking their trips.
