Saudi Arabia to Build NEOM Stadium 350 Meters Above Ground for 2034 FIFA World Cup

Saudi Arabia has unveiled ambitious plans to construct the world’s first “Neom Sky Stadium”, a cutting-edge sports venue that will rise 350 meters above ground in the heart of the futuristic NEOM megacity. Valued at $1 billion, the stadium is set to become a global architectural marvel and a key venue for the 2034 FIFA World Cup.

Designed to accommodate 46,000 spectators, the Neom Sky Stadium will operate entirely on renewable energy, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s strong commitment to sustainability and its broader Vision 2030 objectives. The project aims to blend innovation with environmental responsibility, setting a new global benchmark for eco-friendly sports infrastructure.

What makes the stadium truly unique is its integration of advanced AI systems, augmented reality experiences, and autonomous access pods that will revolutionize how fans engage with live sporting events. Visitors will enjoy a fully immersive and technology-driven experience, from seamless entry to personalized viewing options powered by intelligent systems.

Construction of the Neom Sky Stadium is expected to begin in 2027 and be completed by 2032, well in time for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The project represents Saudi Arabia’s vision of combining sports, technology, and sustainable design to redefine modern stadium architecture.

Once completed, the Neom Sky Stadium will not only host major international events but also symbolize the Kingdom’s growing influence as a global hub for innovation, entertainment, and sustainable development.
