Non-Saudi pilgrims who participate in the Hajj will now receive a special gift from Saudi ruler King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The King has ordered the distribution of two million copies of the Holy Quran to the pilgrims upon their return to their own countries. This initiative, announced by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, shows the importance of sharing the teachings of the Holy Quran with pilgrims from different parts of the world.
To ensure that as many people as possible can benefit from this gift, the copies of the Holy Quran will be handed out at airports, land passages, and seaports in Saudi Arabia. These two million copies are available in 76 different languages, accommodating the diverse backgrounds of the pilgrims.
Dr Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz Al Sheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Da’wah, and Guidance, has expressed gratitude to the Saudi leadership for this valuable gift of the Holy Quran.
