Saudi Arabia Urges Pilgrims to Perform Only One Umrah During the Last 10 Days of Ramadan

Saudi Arabia has announced new rules for Umrah during the last 10 days of Ramadan to help manage the large number of pilgrims visiting Mecca.

To perform Umrah during this period, all pilgrims must get a permit through the Nusuk app and follow the specific time slots given to them. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is asking visitors to perform Umrah only once during these 10 days. They are also encouraging people to pray in different mosques around Mecca instead of only at the Grand Mosque. This will help reduce overcrowding and make the experience smoother for everyone.

Authorities are also recommending that pilgrims use public transportation to avoid heavy traffic around the holy sites. To improve the experience for worshippers, the government has introduced additional services, including faster cleaning of facilities, better crowd management, and special support for the elderly and people with disabilities.

With these measures, officials hope to make the pilgrimage safer, more organized, and more comfortable for all visitors during the holy month of Ramadan.
