If the Pakistan Cricket Board asks him, former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi has remarked that it would be an honour for him to serve as the power-hitting coach of the national men’s side (PCB).
With the release of Power Hitting Coach, PCB has begun seeking new coaches for the National High-Performance Center (NHPC).
According to the advertisement, the coach will manage the PCB’s development programmes and be responsible for creating targets for individual players within their areas of responsibility that will facilitate excellence and skill advancement.
Afridi declared on Game Set Match that he would always be available to support the cricketers if the PCB needed his skills.
“It was an honour to represent Pakistan cricket,” Afridi added. “I would always be available to serve as a coach if the PCB requires my services.”
The idea of a power-hitting coach is a fantastic one. I’m not suggesting that the board hire me; there are other candidates, “he added.
