Shahid Afridi set to build Cricket Academy in Quetta

Shahid Khan Afridi, a former captain of Pakistan, laid the cornerstone for the Balochistan Cricket Academy project.

At the Balochistan Sariab Sports Complex, he intends to launch a cricket academy for ambitious youth. The Shahid Afridi Foundation and the Balochistani government are working together on this.

Balochistan’s chief minister, Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo, along with the members of the provincial assembly and his chief secretary, Abdul Aziz Uqaili, attended the memorial.

 
“I welcome Shahid Afridi on his arrival here,” Bizenjo said. “Today is a big day, on which we are providing a platform to the province youth to show their skills and performances,” he exclaimed.
