Shan Masood Names Six Pakistani Players to Watch Out for Against Australia

Pakistan Test captain, Shan Masood, has identified six players to watch in the upcoming Test series against Australia starting on December 14th in Perth. Speaking after a trophy ceremony for the four-day match against PM-XI, Masood expressed confidence in the versatility of these players, highlighting their ability to present unique challenges to Australian batsmen.

Masood mentioned Mir Hamza, a left-arm bowler with county cricket experience, and Khurram Shehzad, the highest wicket-taker in Pakistan’s domestic season, as top-performing first-class players. He also highlighted Mohammad Wasim Jr for his pace, especially in reverse swing conditions at the SCG.

Expanding the options, Masood noted all-rounder Aamer Jamal, known for his pace and length, and Faheem Ashraf, emphasizing his potential contributions with both bat and ball. Masood stated that having these diverse options provides flexibility for the team, and their performance in the upcoming match will influence selections for the Test series.
