Sharmila Faruqui, a politician from the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), issued a Rs50 million defamation notice to famous TV personality Nadia Khan on Saturday for creating a derogatory film against her mother.
On Saturday, the PPP handed the warning to TV personality Nadia Khan through her lawyers.
In the notification, the PPP lawmaker said that Nadia Khan had posted a defamatory video on her Youtube account mocking her mother Anisa’s makeup look. Khan has 15 days to recant her words and apologise, as well as pay her Rs 50 million in compensation, according to the notice.
