Shibli Faraz, Federal Minister for Science and Technology, has recommended the public to consume ‘less fuel’ in response to the hike in PoL costs.
According to Shibli Faraz, life cannot go on as usual amid difficult times, and people should endeavour to use as little fuel as possible. The government cannot subsidise every item because it is only focusing on food-related things.
Fuel costs are rising in the worldwide market, and the government has not imposed any tax on petroleum goods, according to the minister.
Shibli Faraz, referring to the price spike as an international issue, stated that his ministry is attempting to reduce the consumption of power in order to reduce the import of furnace oil.
