With his talent hunt for sports talent in collaboration with Global Soccer Ventures (GSV) NexGen Soccer Trials and Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive, the country’s cricketing star Shoaib Akhtar has embarked on a life-changing career opportunity for 20 super talented Pakistani football players.
The route to the United Kingdom and Ireland has now become invincible, according to a statement, as Akhtar sets his eyes on assisting Pakistani football advance. With GSV, Akhtar will also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of football in Pakistan.
GSV in Pakistan is investing heavily in the trials, which will include the first UEFA scouting assessment on a national level in Pakistan, as well as talent identification in 10 cities across 11 venues, with the goal of offering life-changing careers through professional football contracts in Ireland.
Under the St Patrick’s Football Club development programme, the visit also includes four master sessions in Karachi, Islamabad, Quetta, and Lahore to enhance local football coaching expertise to European levels.
