Sindh Govt Confirms No Reduction in Karachi E-Challan Fines

The Sindh government has confirmed that there will be no reduction in e-challan fines for Karachi. Local Government Minister Nasir Hussain Shah clarified that these fines are meant for residents of Karachi only and will continue without any changes. He explained that the purpose of the fines is to improve traffic discipline and support better management of the city.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that lowering the fines is not an option right now. Instead, the government wants to strengthen local bodies and make sure that people follow traffic rules. According to him, strict enforcement will help create safer roads, reduce traffic problems, and encourage responsible driving habits.

The decision shows the government’s focus on building a more organized and well-governed Karachi by ensuring that residents cooperate with traffic laws.
