Sindh’s Education Minister, Sardar Ali Shah, has announced that the provincial government will soon hire 90,000 new teachers to further strengthen the education sector.
This large hiring plan comes after the successful appointment of 83,000 teachers earlier. The goal is to raise the overall quality of education and ensure that students across Sindh receive better learning opportunities.
According to the Minister, offer letters are already being sent out to candidates who passed the IBA (Institute of Business Administration) test, which was part of the selection process. These new teachers will play an important role in meeting the growing educational needs of the province, especially in rural and underdeveloped areas.
This announcement was made following a meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. During the meeting, they discussed not just hiring new teachers, but also modernising school infrastructure and upgrading facilities. The aim is to create a better environment for students, where they can learn with the help of updated technology, improved classrooms, and better resources.
Sardar Ali Shah also highlighted that quality education is not possible without qualified and trained teachers. Therefore, this recruitment drive is a major step towards building a stronger, more modern education system in Sindh. He added that the government is committed to making education a top priority and will continue to take measures that benefit students and teachers alike.
The recruitment of 90,000 teachers is expected to bring new energy to the education sector and help tackle challenges like teacher shortages and poor academic performance in many parts of the province.
This move reflects the government’s serious efforts to uplift the standard of education and build a brighter future for the children of Sindh.
