A company from China has expressed its interest in building a factory for electric vehicles (EVs) in the Sindh province of Pakistan. In a meeting held in Karachi, the delegation from China Power met with Sharjeel Inam Memon, who is the Sindh Minister for Information, Transport, and Mass Transit.
Other officials were also present at the meeting. Memon warmly welcomed the company’s proposal to establish the EV plant and assured them of complete support. He mentioned that the government is committed to assisting investors and industrialists by offering land and subsidies.
Memon also emphasized the positive outcomes of setting up the plant, such as generating job opportunities and contributing to the country’s economic growth and prosperity.
