Sirbaz Khan Becomes First Pakistani Climber to scale 13 of World’s 14 Highest Peaks

Pakistani mountaineer Sirbaz Khan has achieved an incredible milestone, becoming the only Pakistani to conquer thirteen out of the world’s highest 14 peaks.

Khan recently accomplished another remarkable feat by successfully reaching the summit of Cho Oyo, which is an 8,188-meter-high mountain ranking as the world’s sixth highest. Located in Tibet, China, this achievement is even more impressive because he did it without using oxygen support. This accomplishment makes him the first Pakistani to climb ten peaks above 8,000 meters without relying on oxygen.

Khan’s journey to the Cho Oyo summit began at camp-I on the mountain, and he reached the top on Monday. He is an enthusiastic climber who has set his sights on scaling the Shishapangma peak next, which stands at 8,027 meters. If he succeeds, he will have achieved his goal of climbing all 14 of the world’s highest peaks.

In 2019, Khan made history by becoming the first Pakistani to reach the summit of the world’s fourth-highest mountain, which stands at 8,516 meters in Nepal. He achieved this remarkable feat without using supplementary oxygen.
