Sky Wings, a private aviation company, has introduced a new air ambulance service in Pakistan, expanding rapid medical transportation options alongside the Edhi Foundation. This service is designed to transport patients in critical conditions from across the country to Karachi for advanced medical treatment.
The service operates with a Piper Seneca aircraft equipped for medical emergencies and staffed by a trained medical team. According to CEO Imran Aslam Khan, the company plans to add two more aircraft to the fleet soon to enhance its services and reach more areas.
This initiative follows a notable air ambulance transfer organized by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. The successful operation involved moving a patient from Mianwali to Rawalpindi in time for urgent treatment, highlighting the importance of timely medical transport in saving lives.
Sky Wings’ air ambulance aims to provide reliable and fast transportation for patients who need immediate medical attention, ensuring they reach advanced healthcare facilities without delays.
By offering this service, Sky Wings seeks to address the critical need for emergency medical transportation in Pakistan, especially for citizens in remote or underserved areas. This new initiative is expected to complement existing efforts and improve access to timely medical care for all.
