As per the announcement made by Real Me- a Chinese-based smartphone maker company, they had decided to set up an Assembly plant in Lahore, Pakistan.
Sherry Dong- realmeās Director Marketing Southeast Asia, South Asia & Latin America said in her statement that because of the increasing demand for real me smartphones and the trust shown by Pakistani people in real me products, they had made this decision.
Sherry informed that the local assembly setup will make smartphones and other realme AIoT products for speeding up the digital & technology interest in the country.
She said that āIn the test run of our local assembly line in Lahore, the new realme C21 has already seen a considerable price drop of around PKR 5,000, a feat that passes on the real benefit to the end-user,ā.
Besides the increase in job production & a greater economic and social impact, affordability and availability will be the chief advantage of the installed plant for realme Pakistani users.
Realme team also shared a glimpse of their upcoming affordable smartphone named realme GT Neo ā an affordable 5G āflagship killerā.
Sherry added predicting the future of realme in Pakistan, āPakistan is an extremely important market for realme & has a special focus as one of the top four countries in South Asia for the brand. realme became the first smartphone brand to sell over a million devices in less than a year ā a significant milestone that endorses the popularity of realme as a fan-favorite brand in the country,ā.
Furthermore, promoting AIoT systems in Pakistan, sherry informed that ārealme hopes to bring many other leap-forward products to additional key consumer electronics categories and provide a more comprehensive and advanced experience for young people with its AIoT ambition,ā.
