A passenger traveling recently from United States (US) to Lahore through a private airline was detained for an allegedly smuggling of goods that have a worth of millions of rupees in Pakistan at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, according to the Deputy Collector of Customs.
Meanwhile, it is reported that upon searching for the luggage and the items of the suspect, the officials of the customs found many valuable items including 126 cosmetics powders, 54 expensive perfumes, 290 shirts as well as T-shirts, 12 lotions, and also the other material.
“The products that were carried by the passenger include the garments, cosmetics along with other expensive items,” the Deputy Collector added.
