For example, if you want a 5-kilowatt solar system, it now costs 2 lakh 15 thousand rupees. And if you need a bigger system, like a 10-kilowatt one, it’s 4 lakh 30 thousand rupees. These prices are much lower than before, making solar power a more attractive option for many people.
However, the prices of inverters and batteries haven’t gone down. Solar panel dealers say that the price per watt has even dropped to Rs 40 or less. This reduction in prices is because there are too many solar panels available, which has caused prices to go down by 30% in just 6 months.
Experts think that this trend of lower prices will continue, making solar power an even more affordable and popular choice for people all over the country.
