South Asia’s Cheapest Petrol Currently on Sale At Pumps in Balochistan

The Balochistan government has set the price of Iranian petrol at Rs. 280 per litre, making it much cheaper than fuel sold in other parts of the country.

In comparison, petrol prices in other provinces are around Rs. 458 per litre, which makes this option nearly Rs. 180 less expensive.

Authorities have clearly warned that anyone selling petrol above the fixed rate will face strict legal action. This step has been taken to protect consumers from unfair pricing and to bring stability to the local fuel market.

With this new rate, the petrol being sold in Balochistan is now considered one of the cheapest in South Asia. Officials believe this will provide relief to people who are struggling with rising fuel costs.

The government has also announced that this petrol will only be available within Balochistan. It cannot be transported to other provinces. To enforce this rule, strict inspections and monitoring will be carried out to prevent smuggling and illegal distribution.

This decision comes after traders increased the prices of Iranian petrol to between Rs. 300 and Rs. 360 per litre. The increase followed recent federal announcements about higher fuel surcharges, which created pressure in the market.

By fixing the price, the government aims to stop overcharging and ensure fair rates for consumers. Officials are focusing on strong implementation to make sure sellers follow the rules.
