Pakistan and Korea signed a billion-dollar deal for various development projects under the Economic Development Cooperation Fund.
Reports in local media said that Economy Minister Mian Asad Hayaud Din and ROK Ambassador Suh Sangpyo signed the agreement.
Federal Economics Minister Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and other senior officials were also at the ceremony.
Federal and state authorities will submit proposals to the Economics Department for obtaining funding for projects to improve citizens.
The Minister and Secretary EAD thanked the Korean Ambassador for paving the way for an agreement and congratulated the Republic of Korea on its unconditional support for Islamabad.
