Spanish Climber Dies During Nanga Parbat Summit in Pakistan

In a tragic incident, a Spanish tourist lost his life while climbing up Nanga Parbat, the ninth-highest summit in the world situated in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.

Sadaqat Ali, the Assistant Commissioner provided the confirmation of the tragic passing of the tourist. According to the news, the Spanish tourist suffered from a heart attack during his expedition to climb Nanga Parbat.

The identity of the climber has not been yet disclosed.

Earlier, a mountaineer Naila Kiani achieved the milestone of becoming the first Pakistani woman to climb up the snow-covered summit of Nanga Parbat. In addition, Samina Baig and several other Pakistani climbers were also part of the expedition.

However, the incident of the Spanish tourist passing away is a highly unfortunate incident.
