With the holy month of Ramazan just around the corner, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has officially announced its gas supply schedule to ensure uninterrupted service for customers in Sindh and Balochistan during Sehar and Iftaar.
In a statement released on Wednesday, SSGC reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating customers during this sacred time, ensuring a steady gas supply for meal preparations. However, the company also highlighted the widening gas demand-supply gap, attributing it to the annual 10% depletion in the country’s gas reserves.
Gas Supply Timings for Ramazan
To manage gas distribution effectively, SSGC has introduced a gas pressure profiling strategy, ensuring stable pressure at key meal times. The following gas availability and closure schedule has been implemented for Ramazan:
Gas Availability Timings:
• 03:00 AM to 09:00 AM (Sehar)
• 03:30 PM to 10:00 PM (Iftaar preparation & evening cooking hours)
Gas Closure Timings:
• 09:00 AM to 03:30 PM
• 10:00 PM to 03:00 AM
